Reconstructive Plastic Surgery

A practice dedicated to skin cancer reconstruction and eyelid surgery — restoring form and function after skin cancer surgery, with a surgeon's understanding of how the face truly moves.
About
Dr Leo Kim is a specialist reconstructive plastic surgeon based in Sydney, with a practice focused on skin cancer reconstruction. Over his career he has performed more than 6,000 facial and skin cancer reconstructions, working closely with dermatologists, Mohs surgery specialists and general practitioners to repair defects and restore appearance and function after skin cancer removal.
His work centres on the face — the most demanding region in reconstructive surgery, where anatomy, expression and aesthetics meet. Every reconstruction is approached with the goal of an outcome that looks natural, heals well, and lets patients return to their lives with confidence.
Alongside his reconstructive practice, Dr Kim also performs upper eyelid surgery (upper blepharoplasty) and breast reduction — two procedures he particularly enjoys and is well known for. His eyelid work draws directly on his facial reconstructive experience, where millimetres around the eye determine both function and appearance.
